The reason for my sadness today :-(

Last Night my sister and her husband took Pebbles to the emergency clinic because she isn’t breathing right. We found out that she has a RARE lung disease and that it is very tough for her to breathe. They did say that there is a chance that she could be around for another month with some medicine but that is really optimistic.

As of now, the docs are saying that she may not even make it through the night. They have her laying in an oxygen box. They said that it is the equivalent of life support right now. She is about 15 and has lived a very long life. She has been through so many things and should have died years ago several times over. We have had her since she was a couple months old.

As we were leaving the three of us were saying good night and you could see that she was really excited to see us but the toughest part was knowing that it was taking so much energy for her to just sit up and wag her tail.

There really is only one decision to make.  Its really tough for my Sister and my Brother-in-law.

I know I will miss her.  How can you not miss a face like this??
